# How to delete a student?

To delete a Student follow the given steps :

1. log in to https://institution.vawsum.com/admin using your credentials.

2. Click on the**Beta** icon appearing at the top-most right corner of your page.

3. Click on the **Institution** menu appearing at the extreme left of your page.

4. Now click on **Students**. As soon as you click on **students** you will see a list of students appearing.

5. Type the name of the student, whom you want to Deactivate, in the search box at the top-right corner of the page. You will get the details of that particular student.

6. Scroll right, you will find several options next to the student's name. Click on the **Delete** button which is the last option in the row, to **Delete** that particular student.

7. A dialogue box will appear to ask for confirmation of the deletion. Click on **Ok** to confirm the deletion.

8. Finally a success message related to the deletion of the student will be displayed.
