# How Cashier can update status of cleared cheque in Cashier Panel ?

## Follow the given steps to update payment status made by cheque:

1. Login to[Vawsum's Cashier Panel](https://institution.vawsum.com/Payments) using your credentials as a Cashier.
2. Go to Reports Section (available on top of the screen).
3. Go to Daily Collection.
4. **Scroll** down the page.
5. Check for listed entries where payments made by Cheque.
6. Search for the entries with Cheque collections to be updated (should be mentioned under **Status** column).
7. Now to save the changes - Click on the Drop Down under **Action** column (available in extreme right of the row).
8. Change the **"Pending**" status to **"Cleared"**.
9. Click on**"OK**" as it gives a prompt - "**Cheque status updated and user notified**".
10. Hence the Cheque status updated.
