# How can Admin edit a Diary entry?

## How does an admin edit a diary entry in Vawsum?

Diary entries are edited from the Vawsum mobile app while logged in as a teacher. Long-press the diary entry post you want to change, choose **Edit Post** — the first option in the menu — make your changes, then tap **Done** to save.

### Steps to edit a diary entry

1. Login to the Vawsum app on your smartphone as a teacher.
2. Long press on the **Diary Entry** post which you want to edit.
3. Click on **Edit Post**, which is the first option.
4. Edit the post and then click on **Done** to save the edits made to the post.

The diary entry gets edited.
